Yes. Self-pay and out-of-network appointments are available. Please select the self-pay/out-of-network scheduling option when booking.

Yes. Upon request, a superbill may be provided for patients seeking reimbursement through their out-of-network insurance benefits. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and is determined by your insurance carrier.

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice and missed appointments may be subject to a $75 fee.

Fees paid for completed services are non-refundable. Refunds are not provided for completed appointments, missed appointments, late cancellations, administrative services, forms, letters, or record requests. If a billing error occurs, appropriate corrections will be made promptly.

Treatment recommendations are individualized based on each patient’s clinical needs, medical history, and current symptoms. The Healing Place Psychiatry does not currently prescribe stimulant medications or benzodiazepines. If these medications are being sought, referral to another provider may be recommended.

Controlled substances are prescribed on a limited, case-by-case basis and may require additional evaluation, documentation, and monitoring. Prescription of controlled medications is not guaranteed and is based on clinical judgment and applicable laws and regulations. This includes medications such as: such as Adderall, Vyvanse, Concerta, and Ritalin or benzodiazepines such as: Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin, or Valium.
